Homosexuality What the Bible Really Says...

to all my very patient friends out there thank for your support here.

over many threads i have argued and posted on what various indivdual versus in the bible say.

to put it all together i decided to create it's own topic thread so it could be referred back to in the future.

I find it beyond my comprehension that an issue, homosexuality, which is experienced by what, 5-10% of the adult population, is not dealt with directly by the Bible. How can any Christian organization fully advise and tend it's flock when 5%-10% of them have had their sexuality totally ignored, or worse still, been victimised and persecuted for it.

If we are all made in Gods image, does that mean that 5-10% of hs psyche has homosexual tendencies? (Apologists - no answer necessary.)

Naughty children

i heared something the other day that made me sick.. apparentely its been brought out in a talk recently that children are becoming more and more imperfect due to us being right at the end of the system.. i was told that the witnesses are saying that this generation of kids being born have a natural bad streak that makes them so willfull and disobedient.. i don't know what they are saying should be done about it but i imagine they are probably encouraging harsher discipline.. the mind boggles!

DA used to be used for unbaptized DFing

does anyone remember this, or was it just a local thing?

all the time i've spent on these boards, i've never heard anyone mention it.

just curious.. when an unbaptized publisher was in a situation "warranting" dfing, they would announce from the platform that the person had been dad.

i understand that constantine the great banned them because they were eaten at pagan festivals.. in view of the pagan connection,should jws eat sausages?

Sausages are served on plates.

John the Baptists head was delivered to Herods Missus on a plate, Pontius Pilate washed his hands in a plate like bowl and the harlot drinks the blood of the righteous in Revelation out of a cup shaped plate.

So since everytime a plate is mentioned it is a bad thing and sausages are served on plates, JWs can't eat sausages.
